Focused on high-speed magnetic encoder readheads — we publish every detail of the inspection process and the wiring definition.
HP Encoder develops and supplies high-speed magnetic encoder readheads. Our products use 8-wire square-wave differential output with A/B/Z signals and are compatible with mainstream servo and motion-control platforms. The standard installation gap is 0.2 mm, and 0.15 mm / 0.2 mm feeler gauges are included so the gap can be verified on site.
The biggest risks when selecting an encoder readhead come from installation and wiring. That is why we keep the process public: the Go / No-Go criterion is published, the pin-to-wire-colour mapping is published, and the inspection date travels with the label — zero guesswork on site, lower risk of damage, and every installation can be verified.
From inspection to packaging, every step follows a standard
Every readhead goes through a 0.20 mm tight (NO-GO) / 0.15 mm free (GO) check — 100% coverage.
Each 8-wire square-wave differential output is verified to ensure A/B/Z signal quality.
The anti-static bag label records product name, model, gauge specification, wire colours and inspection date — fully traceable.
Silver anti-static bag plus bubble wrap for double protection; batches stay tidy and manageable.
